7 Things Every Home Staging Website Needs
Many home staging websites don’t do what they are supposed to. That is because they don’t include the 7 things necessary for every home staging website.
Your home staging website needs to (1) provide value to your website visitors so that (2) your website visitors contact you and hire you.
In order to do this, your website needs to have good curb appeal, much like the curb appeal you give to your clients’ homes.
Here are the 7 things that you need to include on your website for it to provide good curb appeal for your business.
1. Name
Your website needs to include the name of your business and your name.
This is analogous to the home address of the property you are staging.
2. Your brand
Explanation of your business, your niche, your service area, and your brand.
Analogous to how you place furniture and accessories to show that the home is right for the potential buyer.
3. Portfolio
Portfolio of your work for the potential client to be able to visualize your work.
Analogous to helping the potential buyer visualize themselves living in the home.
4. Testimonials
Testimonials from your existing clients provide the social proof that potential clients like to see.
Analogous to getting referrals for your home staging business.
5. Content
Content on your website includes your blog, portfolio, videos, and any other resources that you provide to give value to your website visitors.
Analogous to showing your style with furnishing and accessories.
6. Contact Information
Your contact information, such as your phone number, email address, and your website’s contact form.
Analogous to the potential buyer of the home being able to contact the Realtor.
7. Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (or Terms and Conditions) for your website visitor to know how to use the information on your website and how their information will be used.
Analogous to the contacts you have with your clients.
